Scope
This module is about leading and supporting your team in the workplace. This will include both operational and non-operational contexts. It will also include working with allied agencies.
Skill Objectives
Analytical skills
Collect and interpret information from all available sources to make sound and realistic judgements and plans for allocation of your people resources to meet specified objectives. Review the outcomes of achievements against objectives to inform future practice.
Planning skills
Prepare plans which make best use of resources available and allow for contingencies. This should include setting individual and team objectives, and scheduling activities to meet time and resource constraints.
Achieving results
Inform, motivate, support and monitor people's performance against objectives. Prioritise to meet unanticipating change. Manage and allocate physical resources to achieve initial and changing objectives.

How to plan actions, including use of resources, for both operational and non-operational contexts
Internal and external regulations and requirements that will impact on your plans and their implementation
Methods and techniques of involving and motivating individuals and teams
